Before you send it in
Is Dawgtech affiliated with Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo?
No. Dawgtech is an independent repair shop. We aren't an authorized service center, and opening your device may affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. If your device is still under warranty, check with the manufacturer first.
What's a Hall-effect stick upgrade?
Standard analog sticks use potentiometers that wear out and cause drift. Hall-effect modules sense position with magnets instead, so there's no contact to wear down. It's the most lasting fix for drift.
What if you can't fix it?
You pay only the diagnostic fee and we return the device as it came in. If you decline the quote, same thing.
Do you guarantee repairs?
Yes. If the same problem comes back because of our work, contact us and we'll make it right. Physical damage, liquid damage and unrelated failures after the repair aren't covered.
Will you access my account or data?
No. We test with our own accounts or none at all. Sign out of anything you're concerned about before sending a console.
How long do you hold finished devices?
Please pick up or pay for return shipping within 60 days of the "ready" notice. After that, unclaimed devices may be disposed of as stated in our repair terms.
